Catalizator is a flagship project of the Cred în România Association.
This exclusive preview was showcased in the London Office Building, offering the public early access to the works of emerging artists ahead of the main exhibition opening. The pre-exhibition was open to visitors until September 4th, marking the first step in a long-term collaboration dedicated to supporting Romania’s next generation of creators.
Through the Catalizator competition, artists under the age of 35 have the opportunity to share their vision not only with a wider audience, but also with established professionals in the art world—creating connections that can influence their careers and the way their work reaches the public.
With EVO Properties’ support, Catalizator becomes more than an art competition; it becomes a platform where creativity builds bridges between communities and the future. Each edition brings forward works selected by a jury of prominent figures from the Romanian contemporary art scene and offers national visibility through physical exhibitions, digital showcases, and dedicated cultural events.
The main exhibition took place at the National Theatre “I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest between September 7th and October 12th, featuring the 50 finalist artworks of this year’s edition.
